    Wind-up Collegiate Kicks

This drill alternates Collegiate Kicks and turns, training your ability to cut a tight turn while controlling your weight placement. The Collegiate Kicks add an extra layer of challenge on top of Wind-up Basics.

    Wind-up Basics

This drill alternates basics and turns, training your ability to cut a tight turn while controlling your weight placement. When you're ready for an additional challenge, check out Wind-up Collegiate Kicks.

A couple things I want to emphasize:

    1. Breathe imaginary helium into your upper body during this drill. It makes staying light on your feet easier that way.

    2. Use your core muscles to stabilize yourself during the turn
